Hello all,
Just a little while ago Israeli tanks and soldiers on the ground moved into Gaza. There has been reported fighting, and thankfully no Israeli soldiers killed BliA'H. On the other hand dozens of Hamas gunmen on the ground are reported as killed by Israeli troops.
The troops moving in was described by the press as a wall of tanks backed up by military helicopters.
Olmert is quoted as saying he is "aware of dangers of operation."
This is an operation that will not be short and will continue as they destroy Hamas strong hold on Gaza.
We are still outside the Special Situation Range which is the Army/Israeli Govt imposed effected area. As of now Hamas forces do not have any weapons that can reach Ramat Bet Shemesh. I will keep you updated. The rest of the world is condemning and calling for a cease fire. Clearly the Israeli government is not interested. Have a good Motei Shabbos.
Please pray for our brothers now in enemy lines, pray that they are successful and ALL have safe returns. May G-d be with them all, either in the air or by foot, may G-d be their shield.
